3rd BirthdayEthan turned 5 years old on May 25th. He is such a big boy now. He is so excited for school this fall that he is having a hard time enjoying summer. He decided to have a Spiderman birthday party, so we invited lots of neighborhood kids to come join in on the fun. We didn't think we'd have a very good turnout because it was on Memorial Day, but we had eleven 5 year olds there! We had a great time, and that evening Joseph's family came over for a marshmallow roast. Joseph's sister Sarah and her family from Vegas stayed the night that night to top off Ethan's perfect birthday. He is such a good boy. He is so sensitive and caring about everyone. He is an excellent big brother and a huge help to me. I am going to miss him during the day when he goes to school, but I'm excited for him to start experiencing that part of life. We have loved being parents to this sweet boy. He was a bit of a handful when he was little, but our efforts with him have payed off tenfold. He loves building things with his hands, such as with Legos, or his Pixos set. He loves cars and trains and of course music. Joseph is still hoping he will soon be interested in sports, but I'm beginning to think he shouldn't hold his breath! We love our Ethan and can't imagine life without him!
