Family Reunion Time

This is an event 5 years in the making. Joseph and Esther were in charge of this reunion consisting of 70 people! This was held at the end of July and was no small undertaking. For the first three days, we stayed up at Bear Lake in a huge cabin. We had fun boating, playing games, eating great food, and cleaning up a flooding basement! The kids loved this cabin because of the slides that led from one floor to the other, and the huge play room in the basement. We went to a Pickleville play and had a wonderful Favorite Things party with the sisters. The day we got home we had an official kick-off for the reunion at a park here in Kaysville. We had pizza and played games, and chose our mascots for the competition to follow the next day at Lagoon. We had a fun and very long day at Lagoon on Friday, complete with a raffle and matching shirts. Saturday we planned a red-carpet event for our Oscar's night. Every family turned in a video, and we enjoyed a catered meal. This was the highlight of our week. I loved planning all of the events with Joseph and Esther. I was actually a little sad when this week came to an end. We love being with family and it was wonderful that everyone could make it for this special event.
