Christmas morning...we look a little sleepy, but excited to see if Santa came!

We decided to get a new Christmas tree this year, complete with new decorations. My niece and sister called this tree our Who-ville tree. :) I love it!

Ethan's favorite gift from Santa, his new Nintendo DS!

Tanner finally got the hang of opening presents. He didn't really care what was in them, he just wanted to tear into them all.

This was all Alex wanted... a new firetruck! He asked Santa for it, and he got it!!! What a lucky boy he is.

Ethan sleeps in our room for Christmas Eve, and wanted to be able to see out the window. He placed some reindeer food on the window ledge outside, and wanted to wait up to see if a reindeer came...

This is my family party. We had it on the 23rd of December. It was a great party, and everyone was able to come, including Santa!!

He's at it again. This time he took the mittens off of a Santa decoration, which he used as his oven mitts. Luckily I remembered to take these out before I turned the oven on!

This is our family party for Joseph's side. We love hosting, so we get to do lots of parties around the holidays! The kids are making reindeer food. We were searching for the true meaning of Christmas this night, and we finally found it. After many silly games and activities, we ended with the Nativity.

Is the true meaning of Christmas opening presents? Unwrap the candybar before the next person rolls the dice and gets doubles to take away your chance!

We had the twelve days of Christmas done for our family this year. We were so touched that someone would do such a wonderful thing for us. This was a highlight of our holiday season. The kids loved checking outside every few minutes to see if the mystery person had come yet. They were so generous, and spoiled our family very much. We are so grateful for their kindness and thoughtfulness.

This used to be our game closet, but I got really tired of cleaning up all the game pieces everyday that Tanner would spread everywhere. I took all of the games downstairs to our new closets and left this empty. My boys are thrilled. This is their favorite place to play and hide and fit all of them in at once!

Ethan's first year of basketball. He only had five games, but he learned so much and had a great time.

Ethan had a talent show during school, and decided to do magic tricks. Like father, like son. He is qiteethe showman! The kids loved his magic tricks so much that they called him and came over for days to have him show them new tricks!

We have a German tradition that Joseph's family did growing up. On Dec 5, you put a shoe by the fireplace, and St. Nicholaus comes and brings you candy if you've been good.

Seeing the lights in Ogden with my family. From left to right, my Mom, Kristen, Ashlee, and myself. Allison couldn't come up that night. We always have a fun time.
