Joseph has run across a really great deal for anyone interested. He has contracted with a company who is offering to come and add insulation to any home's attic for free if it qualifies for the Energy Wise rebates that are being offered right now. Questar Gas and Rocky Mountain Power are offering rebates to have your home brought up to code. Usually if things sound too good to be true, that is the case. However, with this offer, there really is no catch. Here are the qualifiers:
1. You have to live in Utah
2. Your home is older than 2006
3. You have Rocky Mountain Power, and Questar for gas
4. You have not added insulation within the past couple of years
5. You have an air conditioner
That's it. This company will come and add about 6 inches of insulation to your attic, which will instantly start saving you money on your bill. They will have you sign a paper that states when you receive your rebates, you will turn them over to this company. No out of pocket $. You also sign a paper that says if they do your home and for any reason you do not receive your rebate, then you are NOT responsible to pay for the insulation. Also, if you send referrals our way, you will receive a $25 gas card for every four people who have this done. We know several people who have already done this, and it worked out so smoothly! We had some guy doing this around our neighborhood & we were scheduled, but he had an emergency & had to cancel. Point being, that we haven't had it done & are moving to a new house around the corner & we will need it there, plus I'm sure the people moving into our house would like to have it done. Send me more info!! Our home inspector recommended the extra insulation to us & I wasn't sure how to get ahold of the guy... this is perfect!
